How to anticipate what the market (or any symbol) is likely to do by reading the Chikou (Blue Line).
Anticipating what the market is most likely to do is a skill that will transform your trading success. This video explains how to use the Chhikou (blue line) on my posted charts to determine if the market has a bullish or bearish tone AND when the tone is likely to change.
These alerts have passed the following bullish strengthening criteria specifically for stocks outside the S&P500:
Monthly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish long-term)
Weekly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish medium-term)
Daily – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish short-term)
Daily – The price is greater than the Kujun line or has just crossed it – bullish move on the daily chart
Price of the symbol is greater than $50 – increasing the possibility that institutions could be interested in owning the stock
Average trading volume at least 1,000,000 per day over the last 50 days – ensuring a liquid market and close bid/ask prices
These alerts have passed the following bullish strengthening criteria specifically for stocks included in the S&P500:
Monthly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish long-term)
Weekly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish medium-term)
Daily – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago AND the price is above the Ichimoku cloud – (bullish short-term)

Any of the following on the daily chart:
These alerts have passed the following bullish criteria specifically for stocks NOT in the S&P500:
Weekly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago – (bullish long-term)
Daily – ADX is greater than 25 – (indicating an uptrend on the daily timeframe)
Daily – Average 50 day trading volume of at least 1,000,000 shares (keeps bid & ask close)
Price is greater than $50 (to make sure institutions can buy them)
Any of the following on the daily chart:

Weekly – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 weeks ago – (bullish long-term)
Weekly – Current price is above the cloud (bullish long-term)
Daily – The lagging line (Chikou) is higher than the high from 26 days ago
Daily – The current price is above the cloud
Daily – ADX is greater than 25 – (indicating an uptrend on the daily timeframe)
Daily – Average trading volume is above 1,000,000 shares/day
